Most of the organic forms of arsenic are generally harmless but the inorganic forms of arsenic are generally toxic. Breathing high levels of an inorganic form of arsenic can cause a sore throat / irritated lung. Ingestion of high levels of inorganic arsenic can cause cancer, liver disease, coma, and even it could be life-threatening. If inhaled or ingested in low amounts, it can cause nausea, vomiting, reduced production of red and white blood cells, damage to blood vessels, and a sensation in the hands and feet. It may also lead to skin darkening and redness and swelling on the body.
Please do not exercise prior to testing. It is best that your blood is taken in a rested state.
